The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Helmet represents the pinnacle of racing technology, engineered to provide professional-grade performance, aerodynamic stability, and uncompromising safety. Developed through extensive CFD simulations and validated in the wind tunnel and on the track, this helmet is optimized for high-speed competition.
Advanced Shell Construction
The outer shell utilizes advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination. This features a 3K high-density carbon outer layer for superior strength and energy dissipation, a uni-directional carbon composite layer, an aramid fiber layer, and a fiberglass layer. These materials are bonded with a pre-preg epoxy resin to maximize mechanical performance and minimize weight, effectively spreading impact energy across the shell and EPS liner.
Superior Impact Management
The interior features an eight-piece multi-density EPS liner with six specific densities strategically positioned for optimal energy absorption and a comfortable fit. To mitigate rotational and oblique forces, the EPS inner surface is polished and specially coated to create a low-friction area. This allows the comfort liner to move independently, significantly reducing the force transmitted to the head, neck, and spine during an impact.
Precision Fit and Aerodynamics
The integrated A-Head Fitment System allows riders to tune the height and angle of the helmet to their exact preference. For aerodynamic performance, the helmet includes:
- Two separate aerodynamic spoilers (standard and a longer race version) featuring elastic joints for safe detachment during impact.
- Lateral winglets to enhance stability and reduce drag.
- Visor turbulators to improve aero-acoustic performance.
Advanced Ventilation System
With 11 ventilation points, the Supertech R10 ensures exceptional airflow. The system includes seven intakes (three in the chin guard and four on top) and four exhausts. Air is channeled through the EPS liner to actively circulate around the rider’s head. The chin vents are specifically designed to create a laminated flow across the visor, effectively preventing fogging and misting while extracting humid air to the outside.
