The innovative VAS (Variable Axis System) shield mechanism incorporates a moving pivot point, allowing for a lower mount position and a smoother opening trajectory. A dual-function lever simplifies shield changes by releasing both the side cover and shield pin simultaneously. To ensure a secure seal, the VAS latch captures the shield to prevent unexpected opening and includes a de-mist function for clear visibility in varied conditions.

For ultimate clarity in all seasons, the helmet comes standard with a VAS Max Vision (BV) shield and a clear Pinlock® insert. Ventilation is managed through the advanced IC Duct5 and Diffuser Type 12 systems. These air intake vents feature three-position switches designed to optimize airflow while improving sealing to decrease road noise and prevent water intrusion.
