The XD-5 represents the next generation of premium adventure performance, engineered to provide unparalleled protection and comfort for long-distance riders. Built with a PB-cLc² shell assembled from a sophisticated assortment of materials, the forehead area is further reinforced by a super fiber belt—a construction technique similar to how bands strengthen a barrel—ensuring a high-strength, lightweight design.

Safety is elevated through the VAS-A shield system, which has been lowered to improve the helmet's "glancing off" ability, redirecting energy during an impact. This system also allows for easier and faster shield swaps, as the peak utilizes only one screw on each side for installation, and the shield itself can be attached or removed without the need for tools.

Superior climate control is achieved through a multi-faceted ventilation system. The redesigned mouth shutter provides a significant increase in fresh air intake, working in conjunction with an inner shutter that allows you to direct airflow. When the inner shutter is closed, air is directed toward the shield to reduce fogging; when open, air flows directly toward the rider. Additionally, the front logo duct ensures consistent airflow regardless of the rider's position, while the AR spoiler reduces fatigue by stabilizing turbulent air and drawing hot air out from the crown.
