Description
The Supertech M10 helmet design offers a smooth, attractive, aerodynamic profile that is streamlined and free of any external channels or features that might act as a load point in an impact. The surface curvature promotes reduced friction on impact, allowing deflection and the most efficient transfer of energy to protect the rider’s head from direct force to the skull, neck, and spinal column. For a personalized fit, the A-Head Fitment System allows easy adjustment of the angle and height that the helmet sits on the head.
Engineered for maximum airflow, this ultra-ventilated helmet features 28 individual intake and exhaust ports (18 intakes and 10 exhausts) for optimal cooling. The advanced shell construction utilizes high-level molding technology with a multi-composite combination:
- 3K Carbon: A high-density carbon outer layer that improves strength and energy dissipation.
- Uni-directional carbon composite: Provides significantly greater radial strength to prevent compression while allowing controlled deflection.
- Aramid fiber: Delivers critical penetration protection.
The shell’s performance is further enhanced with epoxy resin bonding for superior strength and energy management. This limited outer shell deflection ensures energy is spread wider and better absorbed by the four-density EPS liner. Safety is prioritized with a specifically sculpted chin bar profile, raised to clear the collarbone. This area includes a softer EPS liner covered by a flexible rubber compound to reduce the risk of collarbone injuries.
Equipped with the MIPS® Multi-directional Impact Protection System, the helmet is designed to manage rotational motion during an impact. Additional safety features include the Emergency Release System (ERS), a removable side pad system made from semi-soft polymer to help spread impact energy, and the Eject helmet removal system. For protection against the elements, it also includes an Emergency Visor Release and Visor Extension to shield the rider from roost and sun glare.
