ALPINESTARS SM7 Helmet - Deed

Engineered for off-road racing, this lightweight helmet delivers the ideal blend of superior ventilation, comfort, and impact protection. Its aerodynamic composite shell features a smooth, streamlined profile free of external channels or features that could act as load points during an impact. The shell curvature promotes reduced friction on impact, allowing deflection and efficient energy transfer to help protect the rider’s head, neck, and spinal column. A-Head Fitment and the Visor Detaching System further enhance performance, while integrated PLASMA technology at the lower side of the shell edge helps dissipate energy in the event of contact with the collar bone area.

Key Features
Ultra-ventilated design with 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, including 13 intakes and 7 exhausts, not including the eye port, for optimum airflow. The fit can be customized with Alpinestars replacement cheek pads, available in all thicknesses and interchangeable between all shell sizes. Communication System Compatible design includes a cutaway section on the left side of the EPS for seamless intercom installation, with earphone recesses on both sides for speakers.

Construction
Removable, hand-washable linings use warm water and neutral soap, while fabrics feature antimicrobial treatments. The crown pad and neck pad are elastically connected for improved oblique impact management. The removable top pad is height-adjustable through the A-Head system. 3D foam cheek pads include an emergency extraction system (ERS), a hydration tube channel, and interchangeable sizing. The 25 mm nylon chin strap features stainless steel DD rings and removable covers for washing. Integrated channels on both sides accommodate a hydration system.

Protection
The Visor Detaching System uses a release mechanism designed to avoid weaknesses found in other anchoring systems. The visor is engineered to automatically detach from the shell when subjected to impact energy greater than 15 Joules, regardless of direction, for optimized impact protection. Alpinestars PLASMA technology is strategically integrated into the side pads for high-performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries.
